      Progress/Plans

☢︎So this sucks kinda but i've lately been adding a tracking option to items on my store. Patches, stickers and zines are shipped like letter mail because they're thin and flexible, it makes sense to do it that way but if i do it that way, I seemingly can't provide tracking. If theres a way to do it I will later but for now, if you want tracking on zines, patches or stickers of any variety, you have to pay the extra 8.77 it costs to get the tracking information and ship it that way, if I didnt add the cost of shipping like this I would literally be making negative money. So essentially, if you know a better way to do it pleeeeeeeeeease hit me up because I hate this So okay I think I fixed this ?? As of right now I don't have any orders and in order to test if it works I need an order to do it with so on my next order I'll try it out

☢︎ I was contacted by Seedbomb to sell my zines + leather stuff with them gah !! If that works out I'll add links to that here and put their location for the folks in NY where their storefront is I have signed the contract for Seedbomb so now we should be working out the details of the process that is sending them my stuff
☢︎ I plan to try selling at physical locations more, I know theres lil markets in a few places near me especially during summer so hopefully I can try to get some stuff sold at those
☢︎ I've been toying around with the idea of selling stuff with depop or mercari or something, just to branch myself out to other platforms
☢︎ Okay not cool, in march the USPs raised their prices about 8% for shipping stuff which now means i have to raise my prices too :/ yuckie

      Events

𖥔︎ On 4/4/2026 theres going to be a lil local vendor event in my area and i think i'll end up trying to sell at that, i'll be back here with updates on how that went(if i dont chicken out or end up being too busy gah) I went to my first vendor event !! It was a little local market for vendors or folks with yard sales to swing by and sell stuff, there was also an open mic for local bands and I was able to stay for one but I had to leave kinda early so I dunno if there was more music :c I had a great time, I sold stuff and met cool people and was impromptu interviewed for their facebook which iw as so awkward about and overall i got a better idea of what this vending gig is like. This place I was at does them every saturday from april-october so I might be doing this more often, I definitely am going back. Note to self, BRING SUNSCREEN AND A FAN

StainedRedd is my online shop, as of right now its an Etsy store exclusively but I do plan to branch out more. This page is for updates regarding anything StainedRedd. As I make updates, find more things I need to do, etc, I'll put them here, partly for myself and partly so people can see what I'm up to if they're interested.

  About me

            My names Redd, I'm a 20 something year old autistic dude who honestly can't stand being bored. I hate when something is plain, quiet or bland and thats partly what drives me to do what I do. Being a bit of a punk type, I already dress the part of decorated and a bit "out there" and I actually get complimented on it all the time, part of why I make the things I make is for other people to share the positivity too, the experience of being seen and being complimented on your individuality. My patches, jewelry, accesories like that, those are what I make with this idea in mind.
            Another portion of what I do here is advocacy, politics, that kinda shit. I have some things here and there with more political messaging and my idea with those is almost to protest in my own way. My zines are primarily informative and discuss some topics that I feel people aren't as knowlegable about so I use my zines to try and educate people on matters they may not have education on, in a fun and colorful way.
            I've always been a creative type and I remember all my life people would tell me that. They said "you should sell stuff" or "you should go to art school" or whatever, I knew it was with good intentions but I didn't like being put in a box. What I like about StainedRedd is that I can do what I want without expectations or boxes, I don't have a boss to answer to, I don't even have much of an audience or "customer base" in mind but so far the poeple who have bought from me or enjoyed my work are accepting, open minded, a little out there themselves, fellow decorated and alternative people, people who can appreciate creativity without ascribing a label to it or viewing it through a lens of capitalism, thats who I make my stuff for, my kind of people.

  Note regarding commissions

       I do not do them. As of right now I do not have commissions available as a service because I honestly find them nerve racking, for me it feels like a bunch of pressure. Some people do commissions perfectly fine but I can't help but feel its me being paid by someone to be put on a time crunch to make something absolutely flawless that they could still leave me a negative review on.
      As someone who works with leather, I can say it can be pretty unforgiving at times, if you poked a hole already then oops, start over, if you cut it wrong, start over, if you stitched it weird, start over, so I'd rather not have all that pressure combined with the expectations from someone who wants my best, I can only give my best in the form of pre made items at this point. If I later decide to make commissions then I will be sure to make that known but for now, I do not do them.
